CDMX.- In a morning attended by Marcelo Ebrard and Claudia Sheinbaum, two of the “corcholatas”, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador highlighted the Head of Government and said that she has “great capacity to govern.”
López Obrador first asked Ebrard to give a report on the North American Leaders Summit and then gave the floor to Sheinbaum to talk about the train crash in the Metro.
Before the capital’s President spoke, AMLO praised her.
“It is also very important to inform, although it has been done by the City Government, about the events, unfortunate accidents in the Metro, everything that is being done in the Metro to avoid these accidents, we respectfully ask the Chief of Government that from this platform report what is happening, with the prologue, the introduction that Claudia Sheinbaum has our full support because we consider her a professional, honest woman, with great ability to govern”, said the President.
López Obrador accused Sheinbaum of attacks for what happened in the Metro.
“Why do I underline this? Because there are those who are using the accidents in the Metro, what is happening, to attack her, so it is important that our position on the matter be known, and she is now going to make known what is is doing,” he accused.
In addition, the federal president presumed that in Morena they have the most experienced politicians and the “best there is in the country.”
“And also so that there is no doubt, we have the advantage, the enormous joy of having very good public servants in our movement, this also speaking clearly and frankly, thinking about the relay forward, they are the most experienced, because the noble office of politics requires head, heart and character, not just any, and we have said on other occasions and I repeat it now, of the best that there is in the Country”, the President boasted.
“There are Claudia Sheinbaum, Marcelo Ebrard, Adán Augusto López, with a lot of experience, a lot, because it is not about governing a country or giving continuity to a transformation just because we are actors or journalists, or we have some fame, or we have a good presence and as We are friends with those who manage the media, they are going to make us famous, they are going to introduce us to the market as if we were junk products and then how is it going to be governed”.
“Is it going to continue in the same way as before, that the Government protected a rapacious minority, is it not going to attend to marginalized young people, who were called ninis? Is it going to return to that? Or do we want the people continue to be the actor, the main protagonist of the story?
Finally, he highlighted Sheinbaum again.
“The Head of Government has our full support to respond to the concerns, also to the legitimate concerns of the people who use that important means of transport that is the Metro,” he launched.
