With 50% execution, the 167 street work will optimize vehicle circulation and connect 32 and 520 avenues. “We are on the right path: that of a city that advances and grows in a planned manner,” said the mayor Julio Garro when supervising tasks.
The project covers the section that goes from 32 to 520 on the aforementioned artery and includes the intervention of 10,000 square meters. So far, a first section between 32 and 528 has been completed, and work is currently underway to lay the asphalt layer in the remaining interval.
“We are resurfacing the area to optimize circulation and we are also adding hydraulic works that will bring more peace of mind to the neighbors,” said the Community Chief during the tour of the place. “We do not do it by chance, but each work is part of a comprehensive road infrastructure plan where, through dialogue with the neighbors, we decide what is needed to improve the neighborhood,” added Garro.
As reported by the Commune, the movement of soils and hydraulic tasks (placement of pipes and the respective cleaning of trenches) were carried out 100%, while asphalting today reaches 45%.
“We know that these are works that cannot be seen, but we want each person from La Plata to live well and sleep peacefully; to go out or get home and feel proud of their neighborhood,” closed the local president.
