The Grand Place shopping center, located between Grenoble and Échirolles, confirmed that five individuals equipped with electric motorcycles had traveled the central aisle of the establishment on Tuesday April 11.

Tuesday April 11, at 7.45 p.m., 15 minutes before the closing of the shopping center, located between Grenoble and Échirolles, several intruders entered the establishment on their motorcycles, reports The Dauphine Libere. They carry out the crossing of the central aisle.
The video, shared on social networks and accompanied by the song Bad performed by Niska and Ninho, shows four individuals – a fifth is behind the camera – strolling the aisles of the shopping center Grand Place in Grenoble (Isère). They perform wheelies there, before exiting through a sliding door, in the middle of a few passers-by.
The scene is now the subject of an investigation, as related Le Figaro, including endangering the lives of others. The investigations were entrusted to the departmental security.
“Additional measures” announced by the shopping center
The facts were confirmed on Monday by the shopping center, which via a press release describes a “brief intrusion by five individuals on electric motorcycles when the center closed (7:48 p.m.)”.
Then to continue: “The rapid arrival of our agents led to their immediate flight. Their action focused on the safety of customers and merchants, the priority. There were no injuries or damage. These individuals entered by an access not open to traffic, the stairs of the South forecourt and came out by this same route”.
As part of the investigation, the departmental security is counting on the testimony of a few passers-by to identify the suspects. For its part, the Grand Place shopping center announced “additional measures (…) to prevent this from happening again”.
