Chaos is to be expected on day 3 with Andrea (59), because that’s how the Niederrhein troupe met today’s host of “The Perfect Dinner”. However, they would not have thought that the guests would have to wait so long for their food…

“I’m a crazy guy,” says Andrea, who is lively, colorful and loud. It’s hard to imagine that she ensures peace and relaxation for others professionally: “A relaxation teacher is sometimes not relaxed. But I’m just not relaxed on the outside.” And so she scurries through her kitchen in a former windmill in Kalkar on the Lower Rhine in order to “Perfect dinner” on the table in time. Because she has big plans:

Natalie (47) has a clear picture of Andrea’s kitchen: “It certainly looks chaotic.” Zozan (24) describes the hostess as “a little crazy maybe”. Everyone is all the more excited about tonight.

The hungry guests are not relieved until shortly after 10 p.m

“Everything from the ground” is about quail breast skewers, king oyster mushrooms and chestnut soup. Andrea pours it on with the stock he bought: “I didn’t do it myself, I admit it.” What do the guests think of the finished product? “I do not care.” Nobody asks about it either. Zozan eats chestnut soup for the first time: “I thought it was super, super fine.” The insoles are also good.

The tapas consist of many individual components: venison meatballs, carrots, endives, quail eggs, heaven and earth and black pudding chips. At 9.03 p.m. the hungry guests look at the clock. “I’m getting drunk too, I have to eat something again now,” Florian (39) hopes for more supplies soon. “Now I’m getting stressed because the overview is slowly disappearing a little,” Andrea sweats in the kitchen.

At 9:46 p.m., Maurice (39) gets impatient: “I didn’t think we’d wait almost an hour since I last said we could eat something, that’s awesome.” The guests are redeemed shortly before 10 p.m. Was it worth the wait? “The taste wasn’t really my thing,” says Zozan. Florian is at least full: “Opulent, Lower Rhine, satisfying.”

1st place with packet pudding

Andrea thanks her two deceased mothers-in-law, “who taught me how to use really good men’s cream”. There is also clementine cake and bitters. “I confess that I don’t make the vanilla pudding myself. I have to honestly say that the effort would be too great for me,” Andrea says about the finished product. A no-go for Maurice: “Making pudding yourself is not difficult. And in my opinion, pudding out of the pack is not appropriate for a ‘perfect dinner’.”

Luckily, no one bothers to ask about dessert, the pudding remains Andrea’s secret. Zozan is still not really enthusiastic: “Men’s cream is not my favorite dessert.” Maurice misses the taste experience: “I didn’t find the cake that tasty because I didn’t like the bitter note from the tangerine.”

Despite the waiting time, Florian’s overall conclusion is: “My expectations were exceeded tonight.” With 31 points, Andrea is provisionally in first place alongside Florian.
