MIAMI.- After weeks of rumors about the possible engagement between Angela Aguilar and Christian Nodalthe couple got married marriage in an intimate and private ceremony at the San Gabriel de las Palmas estate, located in the state of Morelos, Mexico.
Although it was initially thought that it was a music video that the musicians were recording, this hypothesis was put aside when photographs of the celebration began to leak on social media; among them, an image of Ángela holding her mother’s hand, another of her being led to the altar on the arm of her father, and one where Ángela and Christian hold hands wearing their wedding dresses.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of July 24 and was the occasion of the civil union of both.
It is believed that some celebrities attended the celebration, such as Marc Anthony with Nadia Ferreira and her son, Jomari Goyso, Marco Antonio Solis ‘El Buki’, Víctor Guadarrama, Leonardo Aguilar, Aneliz Aguilar, Aneliz Álvarez and makeup artist Ferggie Coll.
The celebration
Although not many details are known, it was revealed through leaked photos that the space where Nodal and Aguilar’s wedding was celebrated was decorated with red roses, petals in the hallways and fountains.
Additionally, the centerpieces were made with candles and roses, and they had a three-course menu that presented the dishes that would be served for dinner; it consisted of jicama salad, pumpkin carpaccio, tuna and shrimp tartar, orzo with creamy sauce, braised short rib and ‘soraya’.
The menu was led by Mexican chef Gabriela Ruiz, who has a Michelin star.
The relationship
On June 10, Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar announced, through an exclusive to ¡HOLA! magazine, that they were in a relationship.
“Her smile says it all! Angela Aguilar and Christian Nodal are together and in love, emerging as the new power couple in the music world. After several days of subtle glimpses of closeness and affection, the singers confirmed exclusively to HOLA! that they are writing their love story. Recently, the couple has attracted attention by being seen together in various parts of the world, keeping their personal life as discreet as possible,” reads the publication.
After the affair became known, social media exploded, as it had been less than two weeks since Nodal and Cazzu had confirmed their breakup, after a year and a half of romance and a daughter in common, little Inti.
Some fans supported the relationship of Nodal and Aguilar, while others accused the interpreter of Tell me how you want had cheated on the Argentine artist with the youngest member of the Aguilar dynasty. However, Christian issued a statement in which he denied the accusations and asked for respect for both women.
Rumors of a wedding began shortly after, when Angela and Christian traveled to Rome, Italy. Later They denied that they had celebrated their wedding there.
However, in recent weeks it was rumored that Nodal had proposed to Angela, since the young woman was wearing a ring with a large gem on her ring finger on her left hand.
