3 Bronze
She is a living legend: Fatou, the oldest female gorilla in the world, celebrated her 66th birthday at the Berlin Zoo on Thursday.
To celebrate the day there was a delicious gift basket with watermelon and dandelion, which Fatou happily ate. Not edible, but shiny: our bronze medal!
2 Silver
A debut in front of more than six million viewers: Corinna Harfouch is the new commissioner alongside Mark Waschke aka Robert Karow in Berlin’s “Tatort”.
With a double episode, the first introduced Harfouch as Susanne Bonard. The audience reacted benevolently and we award silver – a little room for improvement is good for motivation.
1 gold
Elephant lady Pang Pha, who lives in Berlin Zoo, likes bananas. And – unlike their conspecifics – without a shell.
The 36-year-old pachyderm has developed his own peeling technique: Pang Pha breaks open the shell and shakes out the fruit with an elegant sweep of his trunk.
An ability that has now brought researchers to the scene: Such eating behavior is extremely rare in elephants. We award banana-yellow gold for so much trunk tip feeling!

Year after year, the police rub their eyes on the Easter weekend: the speeders and show-off scene is the target “Car Friday” as the highest holiday, but they laid an egg themselves again this year.
Excerpt from the balance sheet of the past weekend: a driver with 105 km/h with the allowed 30 in Tempelhof, another with 85 km/h with the allowed 30 in Karow. Absolutely irresponsible and simply: Tin!
