American actress Annie Wersching has died aged 45. She became known through the series 24 hours Chrono, Runaways, NCIS or the game The Last of Us from Naughty Dog.
Another very sad news at the start of the year with the death ofAnnie Wersching. An American actress died very young of a continuation of an illness, as announced by her husband Stephen Full.
There is a deep hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moments, she didn’t need music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find us. “Go find her, she’s everywhere” she told us. And that’s what we will do.

Death of Annie Wersching, the original Tess of The Last of Us
American actress Annie Wersching died on January 29, 2023 at the age of 45, after battling cancer for two years. A death that affected different universes that come together, from the small screen to video games and cinema. Indeed, some will remember her first for her role as Renee Walker, FBI agent, in the cult series 24 hour stopwatch next to Kiefer Sutherland. Appearing in seasons 7 and 8, she had managed to split the shell of the indestructible Jack Bauer, making her one of the outstanding characters of the television show.
Since her debut in 2022, we have also seen her in the playoffs Vampire DiariesTimeless or Runaways. Players, on the other hand, know her for having brilliantly played the character of Tess in The Last of Us. A role which was taken over by Ana Torv in the series The Last of Us currently in progress on HBO Max and Amazon Prime Video.

Annie Wershing indeed leaves behind a husband but also three children aged 12, 9 and 4 years old. Donations raised through the campaign gofundme will be used in particular to help the family with funeral, university and other expenses.
The world has lost a light today. Annie Wersching was one of the greatest actresses I’ve had the pleasure of working with, and my friend. I am heartbroken for his young family. May we remember her as the beautiful person she was.
