The current period being rather delicate for Ubisoft, any positive news is good to take. That’s good, the studio has finally announced a release date for the Xbox and PS5 versions of Anno 1800.
The console versions at the end of the road
It must be said that players have been taking their troubles patiently since last October and the publisher’s announcement of a future porting of the game to the latest consoles from Microsoft and Sony.
Three months is the time we had to wait before seeing our patience rewarded. Indeed, Ubisoft has spoken in recent hours to reveal the release date of Anno 1800 on Xbox Series X | S and PS5.
Its arrival will undoubtedly be much faster than you would have imagined, its release being scheduled for March 16, 2023. You therefore have less than 2 months to wait before getting your hands on this strategy game that makes happiness PC gamers since April 2019.
A port studied accordingly
Since console players don’t have the same approach as PC players, Blue Byte has completely overhauled the game’s user interface and controls, now adapted to Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

Finally, know that you can already pre-order the game, in Standard or Deluxe version from the stores Xbox and playstation. Note that only the Standard version will be available in physical and dematerialized format, the Deluxe version only benefiting from a downloadable version.
