CDMX.- The Head of Government of Mexico City, Claudia Sheinbaum, expressed her annoyance that a new hashtag has appeared against her by putting her as “a danger to Mexico.”
During her remote conference “Successful Government Policies”, with inhabitants of the Municipality of Huimilpan, Querétaro, the President complained about that legend on social networks to affect her image.
“You see there on one of the social networks, today I woke up with a hashtag that said #ClaudiaUnPeligroParaMéxico. Imagine, well, a danger for those who do not want democracy, for those who want to return to corruption and for those who do not want to that Mexico continue for the transformation,” he said in the virtual conference.
With a presidium, where Mayor Juan Guzmán spoke and there were logos of the Government of Mexico City, the attendees applauded as a sign of support for the Head of Government, who was alone at a lectern, on the other side of the screen.
“President, President!” Shouted the guests at the event, as well as “You are not alone!”, when the camera recorded them, sitting in a large garden.
The criticism of the Head of Government was once again related to the accidents in the Metro and the lack of maintenance.
In his presentation, Sheinbaum dedicated barely 30 seconds to the subject of the Metro, did not address the accidents on lines 12 and 3, nor did he mention the recent decision to deploy more than 6,000 elements to the National Guard for the surveillance of the Collective System, nor did he mention the suspicions that there are sabotages.
“I take this opportunity to tell you that we are making a very large investment in the City Metro so that there are no lies too, very, very large, there are more than 40 billion pesos that we are investing in the Metro,” he said.
“We are doing the new line 1, a new energy supply system with the Federal Electricity Commission and it will be much better.”
He repeated the concepts of his weekly presentation on the policies of his Government, such as following the fundamental principles of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
He said that the country has to continue in the same direction and that after six years there could not be a regression with the corruption of before and the government of a few.
To close, she reiterated that an achievement of the Fourth Transformation is the opening of decision-making spaces for women, such as the fact that there are nine female governors in the federal entities and a female Governor of the Bank of Mexico.
At some point, he added, there will be a President of the Republic.
