On Friday, January 27, 2023, the annual general meeting of the Sonnenberger Harmoniemusik Nüziders took place in the municipal office.
Markus Comploj looked back on an exciting year and mentioned some highlights such as the postponed Cecilia concert in spring, the three-day fire brigade festival, the trip to the Passeier Valley in South Tyrol, the Cecilia concert under the motto “Manege free” and the Adventhock as the end of the year. As usual, Kapellmeister Helmut Schuler presented the musical highlights in verse. Viktoria Schuster, director of the Nüziders youth band, proudly reported that ten young musicians were able to advance from the youth band to “Great Music” in 2022 – this shows the great youth work of the SHM Nüziders. The association had the honor of honoring three of their musicians: Andreas Stele was honored for 40 years in the VBV, Marlies Melk for 25 years in the VBV and Petra Melmer for 30 years as a member of the SHM Nüziders. It was decided unanimously that Petra Melmer is an honorary member of the SHM Nüziders. Andreas Stele and Marlies Melk were also honored by the community. The musicians let the evening end together.
