In May Apple will bring the applications Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro to the iPad. If you want to try it out, you need a subscription, but you get the full functionality of the apps for your tablet.

Starting Tuesday, May 23, Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro for iPad will be available on the App Store. The subscription costs EUR 4.99 per month or EUR 49 per year with a free test phase for new customers.

Professional tools for video and music producers are finally coming to the iPad – but there are a number of limitations. Final Cut Pro will be compatible with iPad models with an M1 chip or higher, and Logic Pro will be usable with iPad models with an A12 Bionic chip or higher. This means that not all iPad users will be able to test the applications. Final Cut Pro for iPad and Logic Pro for iPad require iPadOS 16.4.

Third-party content (plug-ins) is also integrated into Final Cut Pro to enhance projects.
