According to Mark Gurman, there’s no obvious reason to update the HomePod mini just yet. The small connected speaker actually offers the same major features as the new HomePod. The HomePod mini could actually benefit from several software improvements such as integration of Siri and some apps. In any case, a new HomePod mini may not see the light of day for several years.
