Socorro, Texas– A man held up a convenience store in this city at gunpoint. El Paso Crime Stoppers and the Socorro Police Department are asking for help identifying this violent thief through the Crime of the Week program.

On Wednesday, April 12, at 3:38 am, a man approaches Circle K located at 10790 North Loop.

Video caught the man hiding his face near the gas pumps and entering the store. Once inside, he threatened the clerk with a gun and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The alleged robber is Hispanic, 5-foot-6, with a slim build, with visible tattoos on both arms, including a sleeve-shaped one on his left arm. He wore a red baseball cap with a W on the front, a gray short-sleeved polo shirt, gray pants with a black belt, and white shoes with black laces.

It could have been in an early model red 4-door similar to a Nissan Sentra or Toyota Corolla S.

Anyone with information on the identity of this violent thief is asked to immediately call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477 (TIPS) or online at cselpaso.org. He will remain anonymous, and if his information leads to an arrest, he may qualify for a cash reward.
