Computex 2023 takes place all this week in Taiwan with big news for consumer electronics. Taking advantage of the hectic moment, Asus presents the newest ultrawide monitor in the ROG Swift line with a curved display using OLED technology, an impressive 49 inches and a very high refresh rate for players looking for a complete product for even more immersive games.

The new ROG Swift OLED PG49WDCD stands out for its large 49-inch curved QD-OLED screen with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, 32:9 aspect ratio, 109 PPI density and 144 Hz refresh rate.

The company confirms that the monitor offers 1800R curvature, a response rate of just 0.03 milliseconds with support for VRR (variable refresh rate) on NVIDIA and AMD systems, as well as support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and maximum brightness of 1000 nits.

According to the brand, “to ensure the best performance and longevity (of the panel) QD-OLED, (the monitor) includes a custom heat sink and a graphene film – the thinnest and most resistant nanomaterial in the world.”

Although Asus has announced the product, the company has not confirmed all the details of the equipment. Some stores claim that the monitor has HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB-C connectors with PowerDelivery and 90 W of power (to charge and transfer image and sound data).

The new ROG Swift OLED has already won the Computex 2023 “Category Award”.
