Outside a Walmart store in North Carolina, six people were hit by an SUV in what police said they suspect was a intentional attack on a group of migrant workers.
At 1:17 p.m. on Sunday, An unknown driver of an older model black midsize sport utility vehicle with a luggage rack struck six people described as migrant employeesaccording to Lincolnton police.
The victims were taken to Atrium Health Lincoln, although his injuries did not appear to be life-threateningthe authorities explained.
The act appeared to have been an intentional assault with a vehiclepolice said in statements made on Sunday.
The person behind the wheel is described as an older white male.according to North Carolina officials.
Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the driver and vehicle.

“The motives of the suspect are still under investigation,” the police department said.
