the romantic comedy At Your House or Mine? starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher already has a set date to arrive at Netflix; February 2023. The film, which also features Jesse Williams (famous for his character in Grey’s Anatomy) in the cast, will tell a love story between two best friends.
In the plot, Debbie (Witherspoon) and Peter (Ashton Kutcher) have known each other for over 20 years and maintain a friendship that started in an improbable way; with the two having sex. After that time, however, they became almost brothers—or so they think.
One day, exhausted from their jobs and their busy lives, they decide to switch houses. Peter leaves New York and goes to Los Angeles, spending time at his friend’s house and taking care of her son, Jack (Wesley Kimmel), and Debbie lands in New York to stay at his friend’s luxurious apartment. What they didn’t expect is that this exchange would, in a way, awaken feelings that had been dormant by time.
With Zoë Chao, Steve Zahn, Tig Notaro, Griffin Matthews, Rachel Bloom, Shiri Appleby and Vella Lovell in the cast, the film tells a fun story of friendship and love.
The script and direction were with Aline Brosh McKenna, who also signed The devil Wears Prada, Cruella, Dressed To Get Married, Crazy Ex-Girlfriendamong others.
