Nathanaël Mbuku (20) will strengthen FC Augsburg’s offensive in the future. As the Fuggerstädter announce, the winger comes from the French first division team Stade Reims and has a contract until 2027. His working paper with the Ligue 1 participants would have expired at the end of the season.
“After really successful years in which I got a lot of playing time, it’s time for me to take a new step. Many French make their breakthrough in the Bundesliga and I too would like to develop as a player with a lot of work and diligence. The talks with those responsible at FCA convinced me because FCA plays attractive and attacking football. That’s why I can’t wait to be on the pitch with my new team-mates.”says Mbuku.
Mbuku was hardly in demand in Reims, he was last in the matchday squad in November. The Augsburgers, on the other hand, have little player material on the right wing with the injured André Hahn and the recovered Noah Sarenren Bazee.
