While neither Back 4 Blood nor Gotham Knights can be accused of being major critical successes, they seem to have met the internal sales targets set for them by publisher Warner Bros.

At least that’s what Edgar Gamez’s updated LinkedIn profile suggests. He has reviewed the launch of the two titles, and states that both games met the internal expectations that had been set.

“Launched massive Beta for Back 4 Blood, resulting in over 5.6M Players and leading to Warner Bros.’ biggest Beta ever. Implemented strategic priorities for Back 4 Blood & Gotham Knights to deliver back-to-back Top 20 Games of the year measured by revenue and achieving WB sales goals.”

Bonfire that it is not clear how many copies were sold, and also that Back 4 Blood was released directly to Xbox Game Pass on launch day (which, of course, provides other types of income). Good news for Warner Bros regardless though, and with the success of Hogwarts Legacy and Mortal Kombat 12 around the corner, things seem to be going very well for them at the moment.
