The next club is interested in Charles Aránguiz. As reported by ‘UOL Esporte’, those responsible at FC Santos have obtained information from the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder’s advisors. The interest of the traditional Brazilian club is great, but there are doubts that the salary requirements of the 33-year-old Chilean can be met.

Aránguiz’s contract in Leverkusen expires at the end of the season and there are no plans to extend it. The midfielder has appeared in a total of 214 competitive games for the Werkself since 2015, but he is currently out with persistent calf problems. Atlético Mineiro and both São Paulo clubs Palmeiras and Corinthians have also been linked to Aránguiz.
