In football Germany there was almost a certain indifference when BVB traveled to Munich for the supposed top game. Munich were too far ahead of BVB. “There were times when it was all about honor and pride in Munich in April,” commented BVB coach Edin Terzić.
Ex-Bayern defender Holger Badstuber also says in an interview with watson, looking back at the past few years: “The gap at the end of the season was sometimes immense.” During the last ten championships of FC Bayern, BVB was runners-up six times, the average point difference was 12.8 points.
