Bed Bath & Beyond is living its last hours before finally closing its doors due to its bankruptcy process and is auctioning off the products that remain in its stores before completing its operations.
Sunday, July 30, is the “last day” that closed stores will be open to the publicthe company confirmed to Axios.
The outlet visited a Bed Bath & Beyond in Davie, Florida, to see if prices are now lower than when Bed Bath accepted their discount coupons.
After the visit, Axios notes that customers may not find much in the stores, even though the products that remain They have discounts between 80% and 90% of their original price.
According to the report, inventory is lowso shoppers may find merchandise that wasn’t sold in stores before closing sales began.
Items on sale include a few deep fryers, Instant Pots, blenders, strollers, and kitchen items, but in general the shelves look empty.
With final sales, it is important that consumers check the products in detail before buying them to avoid setbacksalthough the manufacturer’s guarantees are still “fully effective”, according to signs that are located in the stores.

Axios points out that after the closure, the Bed Bath brand will continue to be active, no longer in physical stores, but online, after Overstock.com to announce that it would rebrand the name after winning the intellectual property at a bankruptcy auction.
The move has been called a “big bet” that could help Overstock boost its online traffic and commerce: “Bed Bath & Beyond is a much more powerful and much better known brand than Overstock and despite recent problems, it retains a lot of goodwill from customers,” said Neil Saunders, who is a managing director at consultancy GlobalData.
It is also said that in the future the stores could reopen under the name buybuy Babyafter Dream on Me Industries, acquired the IP for 11 of the 20 store leases for $15.5 million.
