Telemundo’s intercontinental production will offer live coverage from Australia and New Zealand hosted by Emmy-nominated Telemundo sports presenter, Ana Jurka; Emmy Award-winning sportswriter Miguel Gurwitz; the main presenter of the Premier League, Charlotte Vizmanosand veteran World Cup reporter and Telemundo 48 sportscaster, Carlos Yustis, will be official presenters, in charge of the analysis before, half time and after the games. Sports journalist and presenter Veronica Rodriguez will host Telemundo’s weekend night sports program, Mixed Zonethroughout the tournament.
The in-stadium storytelling team will be led by Hall of Famer and seven-time Emmy Award winner, Andres Cantorand will include the analysis of the former player of the Mexican national team and Chivas, Manuel Soland former US Soccer coach, Natalia Astrain. In turn, additional teams of narrators and commentators will have the two-time Emmy Award nominee, sammy sadovnik; to the voice of the final of the World Cup 2019, Copan Alvarez; to the well-known football presenter and narrator, Daniella Lopez-Guajaroand the expert sports announcer in Spanish, Jorge Calvo.
Sports analyst and expert Eduardo Biscayart and the sports journalist Diana Rincon will join the coverage as lead analysts. The teams of announcers and commentators from Telemundo Deportes will be joined by a group of soccer experts who will act as analysts in the most relevant matches.

Natalia Astrain (Spain/United States | Coach), the former United States coach returns as a guest analyst for the Women’s World Cup and joins Andrés Cantor’s team of on-location narrators after making history with the network during the Qatar 2022 World Cup by narrating Morocco vs. Portugal with the coach of the Costa Rica women’s soccer team, Amelia Valverde, the first match of the Men’s World Cup narrated by two women.
Deyna Castellanos (Venezuela| Forward) rejoins the Telemundo Deportes commentary team as a guest analyst after collaborating in the coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019. Castellanos is a forward for Club Manchester City in the Women’s Super League and the Venezuelan women’s national team.
Isabella Echeverri (Colombia | Central Defender), Former soccer player who last played as a central defender for Liga MX Femenil club CF Monterrey and the Colombia women’s national team. Telemundo Deportes welcomes Echeverri to the team for the first time.
Janelly Farías (Mexico|Central Defender) is a Mexican soccer player who was part of the Mexican national team during the 2006 Women’s World Cup and who provided analysis during the 2019 Women’s World Cup for Telemundo. Farías is also the co-host of NBCU’s new bilingual podcast, My New Favorite Soccer Player/My Favorite World Cup Playerwhich captures the most inspiring stars of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
Jaime Herrera (Mexico | Referee) He is recognized for being the first Mexican referee to whistle for Major League Soccer. During his 19-year career, Herrera refereed international tournaments such as the Copa Libertadores, among others. The retired referee joined Telemundo for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar™ and returns this summer to discuss the refereeing work for this summer’s 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Kenti Robles (Mexico | Right-back) is a Mexican professional soccer player who plays as a right-back for Spanish Primera División club Real Madrid CF and the Mexico women’s national team.
Maxi Rodríguez (Argentina | Midfielder) is a former Argentine soccer player nicknamed “La Fiera” who returns to Telemundo after his successful participation in Qatar. The legendary midfielder left his mark in Spain playing for Espanyol and Atlético Madrid; he then spent two years in English Liverpool and returned to Newell’s Old Boys, in Argentina, where he began and finished his career. Rodríguez represented his country in three World Cups, finishing as runners-up in 2014. One of the highlights of his career came at Germany 2006, when he scored the goal that eliminated Mexico after extra time in the round of 16 match played in Leipzig.
Lucila Venegas (Mexico | Referee) is an international soccer referee from Mexico who joined FIFA’s list of official referees in 2008. Since then, she has officiated as a referee at the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019.
The Telemundo presentation marks the first time in US television history that the women’s competition is broadcast entirely in Spanish. It also marks the most games broadcast live on a US television network, regardless of language. In addition, this summer’s highly anticipated tournament will be the first Women’s World Cup at Peacock, the exclusive home of the Spanish-language streaming of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, which will broadcast all matches live.
