Monterrey.- At the end of the hearing, which had been postponed so that the defense could present evidence that could help his client, a woman investigated for allegedly stabbing her ex-mother-in-law to death and injuring her ex-partner and her woman who is with him now.

As Blanca N., 48, was identified by the authorities of the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Feminicides and Crimes against Women to the one now linked to the process.

At the end of the hearing, the control judge handling the case considered sufficient the reasons presented by an Agent of the Investigative Public Prosecutor’s Office that establish the probable action of the accused in the facts investigated.

For this reason, he issued the order linking the process against him for the crimes of femicide, attempted homicide and qualified injuries.

In addition to that, a precautionary measure of unofficial preventive detention was imposed on her to serve in a state women’s social reintegration center.

A period of three months was also set for the completion of the complementary investigation.

According to what was mentioned by the authority in the document, the facts for which the woman is being investigated were recorded on January 10 of this year, 2023.

On that occasion, Santa Catarina municipal police officers who were circulating through the streets of Colonia Adolfo López Mateos, belonging to that same municipality, detained the woman now under investigation when entering a home to which the victims gave them access.

Those affected pointed out to the police the woman as the person who entered the house to attack those who were there with a knife.

During the attack, it was said, he caused injuries with a knife to his former mother-in-law Blanca “N”, 68, who died at the scene.

In that same episode, he injured his ex-partner identified as Jesús N., 44, and Beatriz N., 39, the man’s current partner.

After the call for help, lifeguards from Civil Protection and the Red Cross arrived at the scene, who transferred the injured to a local hospital.
