In October last year, I wrote the news that Bergsala’s Super Mario statue had disappeared after 27 years of faithful service in Kungsbacka when renovations and rebuilding of Bergsala’s office were on the agenda. And then it is only right that I also write the good news that everyone’s plumber is now back, and in style. A new looking Mario is now in place closer to the freeway and finally we have someone worthy to wave at as we pass.
However, the old faithful servant has not been consigned to the grave, but has been spruced up and moved to Kungsberget’s ski facility, and now you get the urge to go on a ski trip, even if I don’t know the front or back of a pair of skis. So if you have the roads past the front of Sweden, don’t miss saying hello to everyone’s Mario and drop by Bergsala’s Nintendo Museum, which is just outside Gothenburg.
