Berlinseries derived from the phenomenon La Casa de Papel, is getting closer and closer to debuting on Netflix. The production that tells the story of one of the most remarkable characters in the Spanish plot lands on the streaming platform in 2023.
In Berlinthe character Andrés Fonolossa (Pedro Alonso), better known in La Casa de Papel through Berlin, will have its story further explored from a new theft. In the original series, the thief is the brother of the Professor (Álvaro Morte) and has a strong temper, which made him clash with the rest of his colleagues.
The announcement of the launch of the series was made through a promotional video, featuring Pedro Alonso characterized as the character putting together a model that simulates what will happen in Berlin. “A new heist in the city of love,” reads the description.
Berlin it is also a creation of Álex Pina, alongside Esther Martínez Lobato, and the series should have eight episodes. The plot description says that Andrés has established himself as the greatest thief in Europe and is now preparing a new robbery alongside his partners.
The series Berlin premieres on Netflix in December 2023.
