He Governor of the province, Omar Perottileft inaugurated this Monday the Ordinary Period No. 141 of the Santa Fe Legislature. He made a balance of management and requested speed in the treatment of projects that the Executive sent to the parliamentary sphere.

It was the second match that can be held normally, since the first two starts were marked by the pandemic restrictions.

“We have come to show it so that everyone can see and be clear that we speak with the facts”

“We present a tight synthesis of everything that has been done. We have come to show it so that everyone can see and be clear that we speak with the facts, they are all realities, works that are advancing throughout the province. Trying to compress all the actions in a message ends up being unfair, sometimes it only takes one line to a lot of work and effort“, the president emphasized after the speech, in dialogue with the press stationed outside the Legislative Palace.

In addition, he stated in his speech that “public policies of universal scope were carried out, which close gaps in the past and open the future, they are not political marketing. We know that better than saying is doing, and we have done and are doing“.

“We left a province that has a new floor in drinking water with aqueducts, in energy supply with gas pipelines, with investments in transformation plants, the distribution of internet throughout the province. This gives us a different province for the quality of life of the people, and for production to generate opportunities and work, that is what we need, for the future of our young people.. Every door that opens to work is a door that closes to crime,” Perotti added.

The most important phrases in each thematic axis

In short, they change people’s lives for the better. I invite you to tour the province from north to south, from east to west, and in every corner you will find works and more works”.

“Faced with water problems in the province that have been recurring in previous years, we are implementing a water infrastructure works plan that addresses 4 axes: mitigation of urban water risk; water management for the benefit of the productive sector; sanitation of the La Picasa system and Las Encadenadas; and the sustainable development of the Bajos Submeridionales”.

  • Health, Inclusion and Culture

“We set out to achieve a closer and more accessible health system with the purpose of improving the quality of life and safeguarding the health of all Santa Fe men and women, in every corner of the province.

The pandemic forced us to face a health crisis that challenged us to strengthen the health system in record time. We build modular hospitals; we refunctionalize and expand health effectors; we incorporate more equipment; we tripled critical adult beds; We doubled the number of pediatric critical beds and doubled the number of general beds with oxygen.

Our health management in the pandemic was even recognized by the University of Oxford.

We strengthened the emergency and transfer network with the delivery of 87 new highly complex ambulances.

Today the LIF is synonymous with innovation and health sovereignty. We are pioneers in the public production of broad-spectrum antibiotics. For the second consecutive year, the LIF produces cannabis oil for medicinal purposes. A special recognition to those who started this fight to bring out of hiding a medicinal product that must be accessible to everyone who requires it.

We held the Santa Fe Games, a meeting in which more than 80,500 children and adolescents from more than 1,400 schools, 500 clubs and 35 federations took part. The Santa Fe Sports Province Cup 2022 is another great success that fills us with pride and we will repeat this year.

“The future is in the classroom. Education is the path to freedom, it is the best tool to equalize opportunities and, without a doubt, the greatest distributive policy of the State.

That is why we guarantee the conditions to universalize the four-year-old room with the aspiration of ensuring coverage from ever earlier ages. This has been our central objective: that all girls and boys are in school learning from the age of 4.

Our commitment was to establish the Free Educational Ticket, urban and rural: We comply. In its third edition, it has already registered more than 274,000 users, of which 221,302 are students, 44,733 teachers and 8,007 school assistants.

All schools in the province will have 25 weekly hours at the primary level. To take dimension of what it means, there are 38 more days of classes a year to strengthen learning in language, mathematics, problem solving and computational scientific thinking.

We not only build new schools but also improve existing ones: we built 127 new classrooms and have 40 more in design and execution for this year; We invested in extensions and spare parts in 83 school buildings and with an investment of more than 720 million pesos, the province is recovering the gas service in Santa Fe schools”.

  • Government, Security and Justice

“We are going to continue putting the focus where we put it from the first day: on cutting all links with crime; in the institutional strengthening of the Police and the enhancement of the police profession with greater training and formation; in equipping, modernizing and strengthening the security and penitentiary system to get it out of the lag in which it was in logistics, technology and infrastructure. To do this, we first had to reverse a process in which more policemen left than entered. Something inadmissible.

We created three new Regional Police Schools in Murphy, Rafaela and Reconquista, in addition to those of Recreo and Rosario.

Through the Comprehensive Security Equipment and Technology Plan, we are reversing the backlog of our forces: 1,873 new vehicles (motorcycles, patrol cars, trucks); 156 unidentifiable vehicles for research activities; 20 drones with 10 charging stations; 8,400 short weapons and 734 long weapons; 1,500,000 ammunition; 20,500 ballistic vests; 800 riot protection equipment.

With an investment of more than 35 million dollars, we are taking an important technological leap to replace the previous 911 with a modern emergency system, with the latest technology in communication, video surveillance and criminal intelligence.

Within the framework of the “Santa Fe + Cerca” province program, we have already reopened or refunctionalized a total of 13 police stations and police stations in Rosario and Santa Fe.

We have been developing an important works plan to expand and modernize the prison infrastructure. An investment that allows us to add 1,900 new places.

Through “Santa Fe + Cerca” we are carrying out multiagency operations together with local governments, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, social organizations, including clubs, different creeds, neighborhoods, all working together in direct interventions in territories with the collective goal of addressing situations of violence and social vulnerability.

In this goal, the prevention and treatment of problematic consumption plays a fundamental role. We are going to send this Legislature an emergency bill on problematic consumption and addictions.

Within the framework of the “Santa Fe Más Justicia” program, we are digitizing administrative and judicial processes. We are moving forward with the selection process to fill vacancies in the Provincial Judiciary, including judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, as well as higher authorities of the MPA and Public Defense Service.”

  • Environment and Sustainable Development

“The care of the environment and the conservation of biodiversity has in our management concrete actions that we have promoted throughout these years: we are the first province in Argentina to have a Climate Action Law.

We managed to make the expansion of the Santa Fe Islands National Park a law, awaiting its prompt approval by the National Congress.

Santa Fe will be one of the first provinces to have its own wetland inventory.

We are also advancing in the Circular Economy. We deliver machinery and equipment for the comprehensive management of urban solid waste, benefiting more than 50% of the towns in the province.”

“Working for a more egalitarian Santa Fe is another transversal axis that has become a true State policy.

We created 31 Violet Points in order to have prevention actions and attention to violence in a close way without distinguishing communes from large cities.

We expanded the network of Protection Houses for victims of gender violence and their sons and daughters at risk of life.

We promote the line “Plays for Equality” to accompany girls, young people and women from all over our province who play women’s soccer, with the delivery of sports kits for 206 clubs.
