The rulers depend on their results. Generally, a politician presents himself to an election having in mind to improve the conditions of his country, state or municipality. The slogan is always to improve what was done by his predecessors.
As the processes and methods have evolved to achieve better governance, there are clear indicators, my friend Salvador Sánchez would say, the KPIs to control the progress of public policies designed to do a job more efficiently and this is the basis of the duo Biden-Harris to ask for the vote again.
The foregoing and good political communication cause the citizen-voter to have a good opinion of the government in power and may deserve to place their trust in it again. Simple as that.

Biden had been postponing his decision to be re-elected, but since politics is time, he determined the final days of April to do so without the shadow of any other Democrat, although Robert F. Kennedy, part of one of the most famous political clans, in USA, had every intention of running.
One of the issues that can affect Biden the most for his campaign is his age, since if he wins he would conclude his 86-year term, surpassing Ronald Reagan who ruled the country at an advanced age. Anticipating this is that in the same video Kamala Harris appears in almost a third of it, reinforcing the idea that she will be there if necessary. The video contemplated these details closing the flank in the face of possible criticism from his rivals.
