Happy reunion looks different…

For the last eight candidates of “Life made easy – The Biggest Loser” the finale is within reach. Many have dreamed of victory. But camp boss Dr. Christine Theiss (43) pulled an ace out of her sleeve in week ten. Quite surprisingly, she brought back old acquaintances. The shock was great.

Her protégés had already accomplished so much. It was time to pat each other on the back. Candidate Robert (34) even gave a small speech with his fellow campaigners. “Hold on tight! Four of us are finalists. And one of the eight of us wins the whole thing here.” Unbelievable for everyone. But they had made this calculation without the boss.

Her message caused long faces. Theiss announced in a letter: “I want to see how well you can deal with spontaneous challenges.” The bomb burst before the next challenge on the beach. Because suddenly a black car turned the corner, from which four former candidates got out.

Pia (29), Manuela (25), Silke (40) and Zead (21) have already left, but were suddenly part of the weight loss show again.

The joy of the unexpected reunion did not last long. Daniel (37) was the first to vent his resentment, ranting: “You’re already heading towards the finish line with your head, and then you fall back a huge step.” His displeasure infected the others. What they didn’t know: Christine Theiss had promised everyone who had left that they could fight back if they lost a lot of pounds at home. The four had lost the most, were now rewarded and were match team pink. Your opponents: Team Blue/Orange.

It was about jumping into the water and sinking a ball in the basket. The blue/orange team quickly had the edge and, as the winners, was allowed to stay in the luxury camp. When weighing later, there should also be a weight bonus of four kilos. The others had to go to the basic camp and didn’t notice the gossip of their competitors. The frustration of the long-established candidates was still great.

Again it was Daniel who was the most upset. “They were at home with the family and recharged their batteries. We didn’t have all that. We ate dirt.” Ása (48) countered with a declaration of war: “We’ll knock them out! I’m not interested in that at all.” Giving up wasn’t an option. The saying of a returnee fueled the heated atmosphere.

When all the participants were in a round, Zead, after whose departure his team had to go to base camp at the time, cried: “It wasn’t a problem for me. I had a nice bed at home.” Phillip in particular found the comment “not cool at all”, it was Zead, who once lacked willpower on “Biggest Loser”. The atmosphere remained tense until the weigh-in.

There, Team Blue/Orange was able to shine again, having lost a touch more than their opponents during the week. Silke had to say goodbye to the returnees. She had lost the fewest pounds in the past few days. The 40-year-old fought back tears: “I took so much with me here.”

Eleven candidates can continue to dream of the final.
