Oliver Pocher turns 45 today
He is a comedian, actor, influencer. And that’s more than half his life: celebrate today Oliver Pocher his 45th birthday.
And he was only 20 when he took off: his first attempt at comedy on Bärbel Schäfer’s talk show was whistled at by the audience.
A short time later, however, his real breakthrough followed: Oliver Pocher was employed by the music television channel VIVA. Among other things, he moderated his own show “Alles Pocher… oder was?”. Pocher became known at the latest with his role as Fred in the ARD series “Star Catcher”.
After moving to ProSieben, his unstoppable rise into the starry sky of the TV landscape began. His show “Rent a Pocher” ran for three years. From 2007 he was seen for two years on ARD in “Schmidt & Pocher” alongside Harald Schmidt. From 2009 to 2011 he presented his own late night show “The Oliver Pocher Show”.
The comedian is a big soccer fan. In the course of the soccer championships, Oliver Pocher recorded fan songs: “Schwarz und Weiß” in 2006 and “Bringt him home” two years later. The singles spent several weeks in the top 10 of the German charts.
Women love humor – so does Pocher. The entertainer has been in some long-term relationships: with presenter Annemarie Carpendale (then Warnkross), with Germany’s first Bachelorette, model Monica Ivancan and with tennis player Sabine Lisicki.
He was married for the first time to the model Sandy Wölden. The couple have a daughter and twin sons. After three years of marriage, they divorced. Sandy now lives with the three Pocher kids and another twin duo from her second marriage in Florida, USA.

The entertainer married again in 2019: Today he is happy with Amira Pocher, the couple has two sons. Oliver and Amira run the successful podcast “Die Pochers!” together.
