The TV 2 success Every time we meet is finally back on the screen again. Sunday evening marks the start of the 13th season of the popular music program which offers both entertaining and tear-jerking moments.
One of the country’s by far the biggest and most precious artists – Bjørn Eidsvåg (68) – is the guest of honor during the premiere episode.
The veteran artist has turned down Every time we meet for years, but finally gave the thumbs up this time.

It is not without reason that Eidsvåg is referred to as a bauta. Rogalendingen is considered to be a prominent figure in Norwegian music. His career spans 50 years with 28 released albums and popular songs such as “Eg ser”, “Floden” and “Skyfri himmel”.
His music is serious as well as humorous. Personal experiences from his own life are also reflected in the musician’s lyrics.
The 68-year-old has also collected a total of four Spellemann awards for his performing work. Furthermore, he has appeared on the theater stage with his self-written play, Etterlyst: Jesus.

In keeping with tradition, the artist colleagues, who in this round are Freddy Kalas (32), Emma Steinbakken (19), Isah (23), Karoline Krüger (52), Ingebjørg Bratland (32) and Kristian Kristensen (30), will dive into the guest of honor repertoire, and perform their interpretation of the most famous songs.
