Newcomer Daley Blind, who only has a contract with FC Bayern until the end of the season, is in no hurry when it comes to planning for the future. During his presentation on Saturday, the defender explained: “I want to help the team and contribute my experience. Of course I want to play as much as possible, but I know my position and then we’ll see what happens in the summer.” A long-term stay in Munich is at least not excluded.

Sport director Hasan Salihamidzic is also initially hoping for a productive cooperation until the end of the season: “We had the first contact before Christmas. We got along well from the start, and those were very pleasant conversations. Now we all hope that we can win a few titles together.” The 32-year-old Blind came to Bayern on a free transfer. His contract with Ajax Amsterdam had just been terminated.
