DAfter the fourth season of ‘Love is Blind’ ended (‘Casamento à Cegas’, in Portuguese), Netflix announced that it would make a cast reunion episode that would be broadcast live on the platform. Unfortunately, it looks like the company’s plans didn’t go as expected.
In addition to a one-hour delay, technical issues prevented thousands of Netflix subscribers from being able to watch the ‘Love is Blind’ episode live – which led to the situation being reported on Twitter and the DownDetector website.
“To everyone who stayed up late, got up early or booked Sunday afternoon… We are truly sorry that the ‘Love is Blind’ reunion did not work out as we had planned. We are filming now and will release the episode on Netflix as soon as possible.”can be read in the publication shared on Twitter.
It is worth remembering that this is not the first time that Netflix has bet on this format live. Chris Rock’s latest comedy special – ‘Selective Outrage’ – was broadcast live and, at the time, there were no known technical issues.
