“Blueback – A Deep Friendship” wants to be many things: family film, environmental appeal, illness drama. But director Robert Connolly (55) can not decide on a direction. Instead, he delivers a very pleasing drama without corners, edges or even surprises.
Conclusion: Pleasing drama about a cracked mother-daughter relationship and the man-made dangers for our oceans.
