This Wednesday afternoon the General Secretary of Section 8, Eduardo Antonio Zendejas Amparán, the Secretary of Education and Sports, Sandra Elena Gutiérrez Fierro and the General Director of the SEECH, Sandra Elena Gutiérrez Fierro, signed the agreement for the granting of bonds and incentives for the benefit of education workers.

The permanent negotiation and management of the union part resulted in a 30% increase for the Recognition Bonus for pensioners and retirees, likewise, a 30% increase in the Bonus for Educational Support and Assistance Personnel.

For its part, the Recovery Bonus for retired and retired teachers and administrators amounts to a total amount of $13,552,500.00.

Likewise, in this historic agreement the scholarships for the daughters and sons of education workers who are studying upper secondary education were established for an amount of $5,297,500.00, and in terms of the Teacher’s Day prizes, an increase of 480,000.00 is stipulated, leaving this benefit in $2,080,000.00

During a message addressed to the members of Section 8 of the SNTE, Prof. Eduardo Zendejas acknowledged the willingness of the State Governor, Mtra. María Eugenia Campos Galván, for providing budget viability to one of the union’s most felt needs, in the same way, also recognized the labor and coordinated work of the respective Local Educational Authorities.

During the next few weeks, the dispersal of the payment of the recognition bonus, recovery bonus corresponding to the first quarter, will be carried out, as well as later the Teacher’s Day raffle will be held on Monday, May 15.

Work will also continue on general issues that concern each educational level through the work groups.
