Box office projections rise in the US

Box office projections for Wonka have risen in the United States, and are now a little more optimistic.

According to Deadline, the film is expected to gross between US$35 million and US$40 million during its opening weekend in the United States.

Projections could still increase a little more if Wonka receive positive reviews.

Previously, projections indicated a debut of around US$20 million for the film in the United States.

Wonka distributed by Warner Bros. Picturesand is scheduled to premiere on December 7th this year.

We know that the plot is set in the 20th century, with Wonka at the beginning of his career working hard to establish himself as the number one chocolatier in the world.

The main cast brings Timothe Chalamet (Duna) like Wonka, Hugh Grant (Crime Tycoons) like Oompa Lompa, Olivia Colman (The Crown), Sally Hawkins (A Forma da gua) e Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean).
