Alves has been accused of sexually harassing a woman at a Barcelona nightclub late last year. The competent judge in Barcelona ruled out the possibility of bail, thereby granting the public prosecutor’s application in all respects. Alves was under contract at FC Barcelona until 2022 and now plays for Mexican club UNAM Pumas.
