BRIT Awards viewers all have the same complaint about host Mo Gilligan tonight.

The 34-year-old comedian, who took over the Jack Whitehall Music Awards last year, hosted the 43rd edition of the ceremony tonight.

Mo Gilligan hosted the Brit Awards tonight but failed to wow viewers[/caption]

His appearance went straight from The Masked Singer to the UK stage without any publicity.

But his stand up and presentation didn’t seem to impress the audience.

Mo’s attempts to chat with Stormzy fell flat, and the awkward lying interaction with Hollywood actor Stanley Tucci made people cringe for him.

Viewers took to social media with the same complaint.

One wrote, “OMG it’s only been 4 minutes and Mo was terrible.

“Does he write his own material because there must be some spelling mistakes in it. Give me an oi oi for that.

A second said: “Mo Gillingham is such a dead host, bring Jack Whitehall back immediately #BRITs.”

Another added: “Mo Gilligan is used to accepting big gigs beyond his actual talent level. But hosting this show is one of the toughest gigs in the world #BRITs”

A fourth said: “Mo Gilligan out of his depth here #BRITs scripted doesn’t suit him.”

“Omg that was an awkward conversation between Mo and Stanley,” said another.
