Mexico City.- After a year of becoming known that Bruce Willis had aphasia, it has now been revealed that what he really has is frontotemporal dementia that has no cure, his family reported.

“Since we announced Bruce’s aphasia diagnosis in spring 2022, Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia (known as FTD). Unfortunately, not communicating effectively is just one symptom of the disease. Bruce is facing. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” Rumer Willis wrote on his Instagram account.

Frontotemporal dementia is the progressive degeneration of the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain, which affects decision-making ability, emotion processing, and language.

“Today there are no treatments for the disease, a reality that we hope can change in the coming years. As Bruce’s condition progresses, we hope that the media attention can be focused on shedding light on this disease that needs much more awareness and investigation,” the family said.

Celebrities like Aaron Paul, Alanna Masterson and Jamie Chung immediately sent their best wishes to the Die Hard actor.

A few months ago it was announced that Bruce Willis changed his will and practically disinherited Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah, daughters he had with actress Demi Moore, since he will only give $1 million each when the fortune he has is of 250 million dollars.
