According to the mother’s account, everything happened around 10 p.m. last Tuesday at her house on 1200 José Ingenieros Street, while she was preparing dinner for her family. In an oversight, she said that Milena accidentally fell from the bed where she was resting and the next day she woke up with vomiting and seizures.

In this way, the case, which at first was opened preventively as “Investigation of causes of death”, was rebranded and left in charge of the prosecutor Adriana Elizabeth Suárez Corripio, of the Functional Unit No. 8 of the courts of that jurisdiction. .
After being detained, both refused to testify when they were questioned. Despite the prosecutor’s attempt to accuse him of aggravated homicide by the bond, the Justice of Guarantees charged Chamarro with the crime of simple homicide, since he is not the biological father.
