Gacinovic was active in Germany for Eintracht Frankfurt and TSG Hoffenheim, making a total of 143 Bundesliga appearances. A year ago, the Serbian playmaker was first loaned to Panathinaikos and signed a contract with AEK in the summer.
The 27-year-old is under contract in Athens until 2026. The Greeks’ transfer fee is correspondingly lavish. Under eight million euros one is not willing to talk. The next few days will show whether VfB can be put off by this.
