It seems like there’s a lot of secret work going on inside Bungie’s walls, and if one of their senior designers Tom Farnsworth is to be believed, the game developer has several unannounced projects that it is working on together with Sony. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard rumors about this either, and as recently as last year there were job ads that suggested the studio was working on a new third-person action game as well as an unannounced mobile project. There are also rumors that Bungie has plans to revive their old classic Marathon. Something that we naturally think sounds phenomenally exciting.
After Sony’s purchase of the studio last year, there is also a high chance that these will be exclusivities for Playstation. Something that can only strengthen their position in the gaming market. Good tool to have in the battle against Microsoft, especially if their Activision Blizzard deal goes to waste.
How do you see Bungie’s future, what titles do you think and hope will be released from them in the next few years?
