As the “Bild” newspaper recently reported, contract negotiations with the 18-year-old center forward stalled. His working papers expire in summer 2023. According to the report, Moukoko should let his current club flounder and not respond to the offers. The youngster has now commented on this himself and accuses a medium heavily.

The report goes on to say that nothing is currently happening in this case, but that BVB is threatened with a “transfer theater” lasting weeks or months – like at the beginning of the year with Erling Haaland. Due to the negotiation situation from January 1st, Moukoko’s management should see the chance of “intensive poker weeks” to knock out a lucrative offer for the striker.
Moukoko will not accept “such a lie” about himself
Youssoufa Moukoko has now commented on this report on Instagram. In his story he addresses his fans and appeals:
“Please don’t believe everything you read in the newspaper! I know it’s all part of the business of football now, but even though I’m young I don’t let myself be pressured into making a decision about my future. Such a lie about I will not accept me.”

He also explains that his focus is currently on the second half of the season and BVB and that “no player is bigger than the club”. Moukoko further emphasizes:
“It’s really sad that nowadays you can bring something like this out into the world so that you (fans) have the wrong picture of me, it’s a real shame because I’m still shocked by the reports.”
