For the transfer fee that Borussia Dortmund beckons in the event of a transfer from Jude Bellingham, many a football club could be completely renovated. Transfermarkt.de currently estimates his market value at 110 million euros. Since English clubs are vying for him and don’t even shy away from bidding, BVB could even rake in up to 150 million euros.
According to other rumors, the fee might not be that high. Various media reports have already speculated that the Englishman has an exit clause of around 60 million euros in the contract.
But no matter how high the transfer fee may be in the end: BVB would love to do without it if they could keep the 19-year-old super talent.
The decision rests with Bellingham and is expected to be made this week.
Watzke wants to know: BVB bosses “consider Bellingham lost”
Before the team travels to the eight-day training camp in Marbella on Friday, BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke wants to know whether Bellingham is going or staying.
Like the Spanish”AS” reported, a meeting between Watzke, BVB sports director Sebastian Kehl, as well as Jude Bellingham and his advisors Mark (father) and Mark (family friend) is to take place in the coming days.

Accordingly, Watzke planned the “ultimate Bellingham summit” before the World Cup in Qatar. The BVB bosses probably have little hope that the Englishman’s decision will be in favor of Borussia:
According to AS, they consider Bellingham ‘lost’. “If the big clubs are there, we can’t afford a financial fight,” Watzke recognized back in November.
Liverpool arguably favorites at Bellingham poker
And the big clubs are there: At industry leader Real Madrid, Bellingham is even considered a “transfer priority”, and to this day the “royal” are confident of winning Bellingham poker. In December, PSG also expressed its interest and willingness to transfer up to 150 million euros to Dortmund.
Most likely, however, is a move to the Premier League: English clubs seem keen to secure the country’s upcoming superstar. In the transfer duel between the reigning champions Manchester City and Liverpool FC, Jürgen Klopp’s club currently seems to be ahead.

Chelsea FC, which has been liquid again since it was taken over by a consortium led by US entrepreneur Todd Boehly, has probably been rebuffed in the meantime.
Jude Bellingham is probably one of the most promising footballers of the moment. The 19-year-old is under contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2025. A departure in the coming summer is considered likely. Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez was recently confident of victory in Bellingham poker. However, a move to the Premier League is more likely. Bellingham’s father Mark had himself played in the lower division in England, the “transfer target number 1” should be Liverpool FC.
