Jude Bellingham is one of the most sought-after football professionals in the world. The 19-year-old has been showing strong performances for Borussia Dortmund for just over two years and also impressed for England at the World Cup in Qatar. His market value is currently 110 million euros – making him the fourth most valuable professional in the world.
No wonder all top European clubs are trying to get the young Englishman. Liverpool FC, Real Madrid, Barcelona FC, Chelsea and Manchester City all feature in courting Bellingham. A departure from Dortmund in the coming summer seems likely, even if it is not yet considered certain.

Before the World Cup break, BVB boss Hans-Joachim Watzke announced talks for after the World Cup: “Once Qatar is over, we’ll have a basic conversation about what he actually wants. Then let him tell us if he wants to stay or if he wants to go.”
Watzke also classified realistically: “If the really big clubs are there, we can’t afford a financial fight.” Since Bellingham is still under contract in Dortmund until 2025, there have always been reports of a transfer fee in the three-digit million range, and there was even speculation of over 150 million euros. This would make Bellingham the most expensive BVB departure in history.
Now, however, a report by the “Daily Mail” could cause disillusionment among Dortmund fans. According to the English newspaper, there is a fixed transfer fee of 60 million pounds (equivalent to 67 million euros). At the same time, the “Daily Mail” puts it into perspective in the next sentence and writes: “Assuming this transfer fee was met, Bellingham could choose freely.” And that’s between the absolute top clubs in Europe who are willing to pay these 67 million euros.

In England, Liverpool and Manchester City in particular could have a good chance of signing Bellingham. The “Daily Mail”, for example, writes that the midfielder is said to have got along particularly well with Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and full-back Trent Alexander-Arnold during the World Cup. According to “Bild”, City plays with Erling Haaland Bellingham’s best friend.
At the same time, the English clubs also have competition from Spain. According to a new report by “Marca”, Real Madrid in particular are ready to go to their own previous salary and transfer limits. Accordingly, the royals have been in contact with Bellingham for a year.
Real managers are said to have asked the Englishman not to extend his contract in Dortmund. That’s what Bellingham has done so far. But now it seems to be up to him where he wants to play next summer.
After much speculation, long back and forth and numerous postponed deadlines, clarity was finally achieved last week: Mick Schumacher will remain part of Formula 1.
