Sebastian Kehl commented on Julian Brandt’s situation at BVB. Dortmund’s sporting director told the ‘Bild’ newspaper: “We see Julian’s development every day. He has taken a giant step forward – and we are very happy about that. I am of course familiar with the contract situation and we are approaching the subject very positively and calmly.”

‘Sport1’ had already reported last week that the black and yellow wanted to extend the contract with the 26-year-old. The trio around Kehl, coach Edin Terzic and managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke appreciate the right foot. Born in Bremen, he also feels at home in Dortmund and could imagine an extension in the Ruhr area. Brandt is tied to Borussia until 2024.
