Moisés Caicedo currently plays for Brighton & Hove Albion but has dreams of one day wearing the Real Madrid shirt. In an interview with radio station ‘Cadena SER’, the 21-year-old central midfielder reveals: “It has always been my dream to play for Real Madrid. It’s the best team in the world. I’m doing very well now and why shouldn’t I play there one day and win the Champions League with Real Madrid?”

In the current season, Caicedo has attracted attention with strong performances at Brighton and at the World Cup in Qatar. In 33 appearances, the only 21-year-old defensive midfielder was able to convince with frequent ball acquisitions and quick switching games and is an absolute top performer for the Seagulls. In the past, this has linked Caicedo with a number of sides across Europe, but the move never materialized. Instead, the right footer surprisingly extended his contract until 2027. The Ecuadorian is aware: “To play for Madrid you have to work very hard.”
