Less than 24 hours ago we saw the presentation trailer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare IIIa rather mysterious video in which the faces of the well-known Captain Price appeared and Phillip Graves, Shadow Company boss. The most interesting were two sentences: “Never bury your enemies alive” and “The last threat awaits“.
The trailer raised many questions among fans, especially in the face of the new story. Some veterans already knew the answer and others found out shortly after, as the official Call of Duty account scheduled the premiere of a new trailer, which concerns us today. His title reveals the aforementioned threat: the infamous Vladimir MakarovImran Zakhaev’s protégé and known for the “No Russian” mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009).
There is no doubt anymore. The trailer shows us scenes from Makarov live action in jail interspersed with some fragments belonging to the campaign mode. Some are extremely familiar: the crashed plane could belong to a mission similar to Air Death, the chaos of the Russian stadium could be the new “No Russian” and the fortress “The Gulag”, among others.
The danger we face is real and latent. This is not a threat, not a maybe, but a when. An evil force that intends to destroy the world little by little. For him, each ally is a weapon. Each witness, a shield. We don’t know his next target, but we do know ours: Makarov. – Captain Price.
Finally, the game’s official presentation date is revealed to us: 17 of August. We remind you that Call of Duty Modern Warfare III is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and will be released on November 10. The platforms have not been announced, although they will include (at a minimum) PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and PC.
