The African Cup of Nations football under 17 (CAN U17) will take place this year in Algeria. To mark the opening of this competition, a spectacular opening ceremony will be organized this Saturday, April 29 at the Nelson Mandela stadium in Baraki, Algiers.
Indeed, this ceremony will be marked by the presence of two well-known artists in Algeria, namely DJ Randall and singer-songwriter Ahmed Djamil Ghouli (Djam). It should be noted that this news was announced by the celebrity journalist Rabah Allaoua on his official Facebook page, which aroused the enthusiasm of the fans of the two artists as well as the Algerian public.
In fact, the participation of these two artists promises to add a touch of originality and dynamism to the opening ceremony. For the less knowledgeable, DJ Randall is a renowned artist in the world of electronic music, known for his vibrant and energetic performances.
He is very popular with young Algerians. As for Ahmed Djamil Ghouli, he is considered one of the rising stars of Algerian song. He started his career with the Gnawa group, Djimawi Africa. Djamil ended up leaving the band in 2016, however, he never gave up on music.
Algeria will face Somalia on Saturday
The Africa Cup of Nations under-17 football is one of the most important football tournaments for young African footballers. Indeed, this competition is an opportunity for young players to get noticed by the clubs.
