The Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, reported that this Saturday he gave the order to shoot down an unknown object that violated airspace and was flying over Yukon, a northwestern territory of his country, bordering Alaska.

“Ordered the shoot down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and US planes were scrambled and a US F-22 successfully fired on the object,” he wrote on his account. Twitter.

The prime minister specified that planes from the United States and Canada participated in the operation to follow the device, although it was an American F-22 that “fired successfully” at the unidentified object.

He explained that he maintained communication with his counterpart from the United States, Josepth Biden to recover and analyze the remains of the artifact detected by the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad for its acronym in English).

“I discussed it with President Biden this afternoon. The Canadian Forces will now repatriate and analyze the debris from the object. Thanks to NORAD for watching over North America,” he said.

It should be noted that last Friday, US President Joe Biden ordered to shoot and shoot down an unidentified object that was flying over frozen waters in the state of Alaska.
