Tonight (9.30 p.m., RTL) it starts again!
After a corona-related alternative location in South Africa, the candidates are again sitting around the campfire in Australia this year.
And while candidates come and go, he’s a fixture of the jungle camps: Bob McCarron (72), better known as Dr. bob.

He is actually a rescue doctor and make-up artist without a doctorate – but everyone in the RTL jungle still listens to his medical advice.
The campers trust him blindly and cry to Dr. bob off HE knows his Pappenheimers, gets to know all the celebrities days before they move into the camp. And you can see – quite professionally – already at the tip of your nose where the weak points are!
For BILD, Dr. Bob took a close look at the stars and asterisks of the jungle camp 2023 and reveals what he thinks of the 12 VIPs.

Jolina Mennen: “At the moment she is fit and ready to go to camp. But she has a very strong phobia of toads and frogs. She can only make it if she faces her fears. There is no way out.”

Cosimo Citiolo: “Cosimo is a funny guy. He is very Italian and proud of his cooking skills. I’m sure he’ll keep the camp alive. His cheerfulness reminds me of Santa Claus. But I’m not sure if he’s a team player. He will try to please everyone. In the end, Cosimo believes he has a realistic chance of becoming the king of the jungle. But deep down I have the feeling that he won’t make it.”

Jana Pallaske: “She loves the animals, she loves the trees, she loves the bush. Her room at the hotel looked like a spa and was a mixture of Buddhist monastery and jungle. There were all those drinks, she was wearing a fairy outfit. She can do it, but I find it very surprising that such a strong actress like her suddenly appears here in the jungle camp.”

Tessa Bergmeier: “She has the body of a climber. She doesn’t have an ounce of fat on her, just muscle. In the jungle, as a vegan, she will have problems with her diet. I worry that she might be too picky and won’t eat everything. She has to eat. You can’t keep losing weight. Because once she starts to really lose body mass, because she doesn’t have fat, we need to medically monitor her closely.”

Daddy’s Loveday: “He’s like a puppy that I kind of fell in love with. In my eyes he should have been a comedian. Physically, Papis looks like a real top athlete. I think he has a good chance of winning if he enjoys the trials. He often makes me think of Ross Anthony.”

Verena Kerth: “I didn’t even know she and Marc were together. It wasn’t until the meeting that I realized that there could be more going on. Of course, Verena has a perfect advisor at her side in Marc. But I got the feeling that she doesn’t like to listen to his advice too much. She wants to do it alone, not gain an advantage. She is a strong, very determined woman!”

Lucas Cordalis: “He just wants to try to survive in the jungle camp out of respect for his father. I’m not sure if he really believes in winning. But in any case, it’s nice to have him here at the camp after Covid in South Africa.”

Markus Moerl: “He looks a lot younger than he is and he has perfect skin for a man. He seems healthy, eats well and smiles all the time. He will have fun with the exams, but also experience his blue miracle, as it can really be in the jungle camp.

Cecilia Asoro: “She is one of the strong women in the camp. She is very confident and beautiful. Cecilia will be one of the eye-catchers in the camp! With her willpower and youthfulness, she has a good chance of reaching the final. Her beauty could make other candidates jealous, especially when she’s in the shower. There’s going to be jealousy and that’s good for the show.”

Claudia Effenberg: “She is also a very strong woman. She would have made a good politician. I just hope for her sake that her depth somehow comes out. Many celebrities detox not only their bodies but also their minds at the camp. She will be able to think a lot about her life so far in the camp and then leave the camp with big ideas for her future.”

She also has a great sense of humor, almost like a comedian. But there is also a serious and profound side to it. And her lips are so squirtered – she’s definitely not going to drown in the water during jungle trials!”
